What side effects may I notice from receiving Belsomra?
Side effects that you should report to your doctor or health care professional as soon as possible:
-allergic reactions like skin rash, itching or hives, swelling of the face, lips, or tongue
-hallucinations
-periods of leg weakness lasting from seconds to a few minutes
-suicidal thoughts, mood changes
-unable to move or speak for several minutes while going to sleep or waking up
-unusual activities while not fully awake like driving, eating, making phone calls, or sexual activity
Side effects that usually do not require medical attention (report these to your doctor or health care professional if they continue or are bothersome):
-daytime drowsiness
-headache
-nightmares or abnormal dreams
-tiredness
